Dr. N. Chandrasekaran, MBBS has been actively practicing allopathic medicine since 28 years. His profound commitment in Vedanta has led him to study Yoga in KYM, from 1990 to 1992 – during this period; he was initiated to the therapeutic potential of yoga. He has been teaching yoga and practicing yoga-therapy for more than 18 years. He has a private practice and has devised individual therapeutic sessions for more than ten thousand people, covering a whole span of health issues.
He has been able to unite his initial training and practice in allopathic medicine and his training to the yoga healing processes so as to present the Western medical system a complete and harmonious yoga, rich with an Eastern Heritage that has withstood the test of time. He has mastered the art of combining his knowledge of medical science and of Yoga's therapeutic potentials in order to fully optimize yoga's tools. This approach has led him to be acknowledged as an authority in Yoga-Therapy by many yoga-therapists across the world.
He has traveled worldwide many times to run seminars and continued education programs for confirmed yoga teachers, and has reached an eminent position in the world of yoga therapy. He was recently appointed to the Council of the Australian Association of Yoga Therapists, an honorary group of eminent leaders in the field of yoga, Yoga-Therapy and integrative care.
